How to install/tips:
Power off your Roborock Dyad Pro or Dyad Pro Combo and unplug it from the charging dock.
Flip the unit upside down and locate the rear brush assembly cover on the underside.
Remove the cover by unscrewing the fasteners (typically 2¨C4 screws) and set them aside in a safe place.
Gently pull out the old gearbox by disconnecting any motor connectors if present
Then note the orientation of the gears before removal.
Align the new gearbox with the motor shaft and gear teeth, ensuring proper seating.
Reconnect any motor connectors securely.
Reinstall the cover and tighten all screws evenly to avoid misalignment.
Flip the unit right-side up, plug it back into the charging dock.
Run a test cycle on a small area to confirm the rear brush rotates smoothly and without noise.
If you encounter resistance or hear grinding sounds, power off immediately and recheck the gearbox alignment.
The entire process takes 10¨C15 minutes.
