About
Stainless Steel Nozzle Hot End Kit for Bambu Lab A1 / A1 Mini
Upgrade or replace the hot end on your Bambu Lab A1 or A1 Mini with this pre-assembled stainless steel nozzle hot end kit. Available in four nozzle diameters, this integrated assembly delivers fast, tool-minimal installation and improved wear resistance over standard brass nozzles — ideal for a wide range of printing materials.
Compatibility
- for Bambu Lab A1
- for Bambu Lab A1 Mini
⚠️ This kit is designed for the A1 / A1 Mini only. It is not compatible with the X1 or P1 series.
Available Nozzle Sizes
- 0.2mm — Best for highly detailed micro models requiring maximum precision
- 0.4mm — Standard universal size; best all-round choice for most printing jobs
- 0.6mm — Faster prints with slightly thicker layer lines; good balance of speed and detail
- 0.8mm — Maximum speed and strength; ideal for functional parts and large prints with thicker layers
Key Features
- ✅ Integrated Hot End Assembly: Heating block, insulation block, and nozzle come pre-assembled — simply unplug two wires and unscrew one clamp to swap in minutes
- ✅ Stainless Steel Nozzle: More wear-resistant than brass; compatible with standard PLA, PETG, ABS, and semi-abrasive materials such as glow-in-the-dark and wood-filled filaments
- ✅ Wide Material Compatibility: Suitable for PLA, PETG, ABS, and most composite filaments
- ✅ Smooth Extrusion: Precision-machined nozzle bore for consistent filament flow and clean print surfaces
Material Notes
Stainless steel nozzles offer better abrasion resistance than brass and are suitable for semi-abrasive filaments (luminescent, wood-filled). For highly abrasive materials such as carbon fibre, glass-filled, or metal-filled filaments, a hardened steel nozzle is still recommended.
Installation
- Heat the hot end to operating temperature and unload all filament before starting.
- Allow the hot end to cool to a safe handling temperature (approx. 50°C).
- Disconnect the two hot end wires from the toolhead PCB.
- Unscrew the mounting clamp and remove the existing hot end assembly.
- Seat the new hot end kit, tighten the clamp, and reconnect the wires.
- Run Bambu Lab’s built-in calibration (flow rate, first layer) before printing.
⚠️ Always follow Bambu Lab’s official hot end replacement guide. Perform a calibration after any nozzle or hot end change.
Eparts Channel is not responsible for any damage caused during installation.
