Nozzle size guide

• 0.2mm: Finer detail for small models and detailed features.
• 0.4mm: General-purpose size for everyday printing.
• 0.6mm: Larger extrusion for a balance of print speed and detail.
• 0.8mm: Larger extrusion for faster prints and functional parts, with less fine detail.

Material guidance

Stainless steel offers greater wear resistance than a standard brass nozzle. For highly abrasive carbon-fiber, glass-filled, or metal-filled filaments, a hardened steel nozzle is recommended.

Before installation

• Confirm that your printer is a Bambu Lab A1 or A1 Mini.
• Choose the correct nozzle size from the variant menu.
• Turn off and unplug the printer, allow the hot end to cool, and follow Bambu Lab's official replacement instructions.
• Run the appropriate calibration after replacing the hot end before starting a new print.
